Terms of Sale

The terms on which Privé Travels sells flights on book.privetravels.com.

1. Who we are

These terms are between you and Privé Travels LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("Privé Travels", "we", "us"). You can reach us at concierge@privetravels.com. Postal address: [Operator input needed: postal address].

2. What we sell

We sell flights supplied by airlines, booked through our booking partner. The airline operates your flight, and the airline's conditions of carriage and the fare rules of the fare you choose also apply to your trip.

We show the fare rules, baggage allowance and change and refund conditions supplied by the airline before you pay. Please read them: a low price does not mean a ticket can be changed or refunded.

3. Prices and payment

The price you are asked to accept on the review page is the total you will be charged, in the currency shown. [Operator input needed: service fee and markup disclosure]

Airline prices and seat availability change. Before we charge you we check the price and itinerary with the airline again. If the price, itinerary or a material fare condition has changed, we show you the new details and ask you to accept them again. We do not charge you on the old terms.

Card payments are processed by [Operator input needed: payment processor and merchant of record]. We never see or store your full card number or security code.

4. When your booking is confirmed

Paying, or submitting the payment form, does not by itself mean your flight is booked. Your booking is confirmed only when the airline has confirmed it and we have sent you a confirmation that includes the booking reference. A booking reference and an issued ticket are not the same thing: your booking page shows the ticket status separately.

If the airline declines the booking, we tell you so. If we cannot tell whether a booking attempt succeeded, we check its status with the airline and the payment provider before doing anything else, and we tell you what we find. We do not start a new charge for the same checkout while the result of an earlier attempt is unknown.

5. Your responsibilities

Enter each passenger's name exactly as it appears on the travel document they will use. Airlines may refuse boarding or charge for corrections when names do not match.

You are responsible for passports, visas, health and entry requirements, and for arriving at the airport in time for check-in and boarding as the airline requires.

6. Changes, cancellations and refunds

Changes, cancellations and refunds follow the airline's fare rules and our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Our chat assistant

Sofia, the chat assistant on this site, can help you search and compare flights and answer questions. Sofia cannot take payment, create a booking, cancel a booking or issue a refund, and nothing Sofia says confirms a booking. Only the booking confirmation described in section 4 does.

8. Liability

[Operator input needed: limitation of liability and disclaimers]

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States. [Operator input needed: dispute resolution and venue]

10. Transportation rules

[Operator input needed: US DOT ticket-agent obligations]

11. Changes to these terms

The terms that apply to your booking are the ones in effect when you accept them on the review page. If we change these terms later, the change does not apply to a booking you have already made.
